Standards - The CDC Injury Center

Regulations are written in blood. Whose blood are we using? 

The CDC Injury Center has been fully gutted. For the foreseeable future, we will not know what is killing us. This is proactive deregulation, as a lack of evidence of a problem can be used to justify the lack for more rules and policies. 

Standards is a new series from Everything is Public Health, where we examine all the rules and regulations keeping us safe and healthy, and the deregulation movement working to destroy them.
